I’ve moved from the UK where builder gel is fast becoming one of the most popular treatments in the nail industry. A growing number of clients are now choosing builder gel over acrylic due to its durability, whilst also being kinder to their nails. 

Acrylics and shellac are still the main nail options in most German nail salons. Builder gel is gaining in popularity due to social media but there are still limited salons that offer this service.

• I never rush my work (I see a maximum of 4-5 clients per day) so you will not feel like I’m trying to work quickly to see my next client. Creating the best nails for you in a comfortable environment is my priority

• I love to chat and get to know you, but if you prefer to sit and chill with your headphones on just let me know- your nail time is for YOU to relax. Just add the "quiet appointment" option to your booking

Nail art

Nail art can be added to your manicure at the time of booking. See the Gallery page above for more information on nail art levels. 
 

Please make sure you send me any inspiration photos or information at least 48 hours before your appointment.
 

You can leave a note/attach a photo when making your booking. Alternatively you can send me information via Instagram or email.

Directions to the studio

Atelier von Herzen is located on the 3rd floor of the building which also houses Dance school ADTV Stallnig-Nierhaus. To enter, please press the button for “Atelier von Herzen” near the post boxes by the entrance, and the door will be unlocked for you. Then either take the stairs or the lift up to the 3rd floor. Atelier von Herzen is on the left as you exit the lift. Please take a seat in the waiting area and I will come out and take you to my room when I'm ready for you.  

There are a number of buses servicing the area and the closest Straßenbahn stations are Schönhauser Straße and Bonner Wall. Free street parking is available on the following streets: Hebbelstraße, Thomas-Mann Straße, Mathiaskirchplatz, and the nearby hospital has a (paid) parking garage. There is also bicycle parking outside the building.
